Los Angeles - Day 45

View Paul & Cath on holteend's travel map.

We woke up at ten and had breakfast and a drink in the cafe downstairs. We then got on the metro and got off at Graumans Theatre - this is the place where famous movie stars put their hands and feet in concrete. There are lots of people around dressed up as film stars hoping that you will have a picture with them (for a tip of course!). We saw Homer Simpson, Batman, Superman, Captain Jack Sparrow, Freddie Kruger and lots more.

We bought tickets to go on the celebrity house tour. While we were waiting for the tour to start Cath looked at the hand prints while Paul read his book. The tour was good and we got to see lots of famous peoples houses and also some houses that were owned by celebs that are no longer with us. We saw Elvis's mansion which had the nickname of the Graceland of the West.

We saw the Osbournes house and the gates that you see on the TV programme - we also saw the neighbours that the Osbournes had a argument with on the show (I think they threw some ham's over the fence at them!). Catherine was most impressed with seeing Paris Hiltons house and the pizza place where she bought all of the pap's pizza from. We also saw Lindsay Lohans flat which Cath enjoyed as well.

We didn't get to see any famous people but we did see Sylvester Stallones brother walking his dog! After the tour we went for something to eat at Hooters (well Paul had to get something out of the day!). We then came back to the hotel and got an early night because we were both tired.
